Frequently Asked Questions

Still stuck? The contact form goes straight to the organisers.

Attending

  • No. Registration is open to anyone interested in the programme. Authors of accepted papers must register at the full rate and present in person, but most attendees are not presenting.
  • Yes. A virtual registration gives you the live stream and the recordings. It does not include on-site catering, the welcome reception or the conference dinner.
  • Keynotes and contributed talks are recorded and made available to registered attendees for one year. Speakers may opt out; those talks are skipped.

Registration and payment

  • Payment is by bank transfer to the account shown on the Registration page. Quote your full name and "CCAS 2027" in the reference, then upload the receipt with the online form.
  • An invoice is issued on request once payment is confirmed. A limited number of fee waivers are available for students and for authors from institutions in low-income countries; request one by email before the early-bird deadline.

Submissions

  • Reviewing is double-blind. Submissions must be anonymous, with author names, affiliations and identifying self-references removed from the PDF and its metadata. There is a short rebuttal period.
  • No. Submissions must not be published elsewhere or be simultaneously under consideration at another venue with proceedings. Prior workshop presentation without formal proceedings is usually fine — declare it in the submission.

Travel

  • Most visitors need a Côte d'Ivoire e-visa: pre-enrol online, then collect it on arrival at Abidjan airport. ECOWAS nationals are exempt. Apply at least three weeks ahead. Full details, including the visa-exempt countries, are on the Venue & Travel page.
